Hello All! It has been a wild and crazy time at Riverdale High School. We have had a great turnout at Club and the kids have been signing up fast for fall camp at Sharptop Cove. As as are getting kids signed up it has been a slight challenge because it is the weekend of the ACT. Yet, God is providing and kids are signing up.
Clubs have been going really well! Last week we were at Stephnie Hoke's House and there were a ton of kids there. I talked about the Leper and how we are all like the Leper, and God is there with us personally to help us if we just reach out. It was a great time and the room was full of laughter!
As we get ready for camp I hope you will partner with me in prayer for our kids, and my leaders. Courtney Miller and Abbey Reitzel are taking kids to camp for the first time. They are very excited and have great groups of girls going! Please be in prayer for them as they venture into the wild crazy adventure of taking girls to camp for the first time! The other leaders on the team (Wyn, Garrett, Taylor, Brittany, Heather, Jacqui, & I) all have kids going too. Although we have kids and we will be returning to camp as leaders who have taken kids before, it will still be something new. We are all taking kids who are new or we have been with, but that does not take away from the need of them knowing to know Christ. In the mist of out kids hearing, and learning about Christ I pray that us, as leaders, get a huge glimpse of who he is and we can feel his power too!
